This was so sweet to read! Imposter syndrome is a never ending spiral once it gets kicked off. The idea of a brag list is so incredible! Is it okay if I use that as a means of helping myself w this ? It made me verbally go oh my god that’s incredible and so smart. I’ve also found that having space away from yr writing and crafts provides the experiences and other elements of the world that can actually help to improve them.
I feel you on the "every day I don't write" thing. I swing back and forth on this. On the one hand, I deeply admire anyone who can genuinely sit down EVERY DAY to write, and I wish I were one of them—but I also feel sorry for them. I'm so lucky to have friends and hobbies and responsibilities (a partner! pets! foster pets!) who pull me away from my keyboard, even when I'd rather be writing. Do they have those, too?
