i never saw this! but, we get stamps and lots of stationery from our collection and create handwritten letters to mail off. our first one we surprised everyone with pen pals from around the world and we wrote in community! it was so lovely <3
Love this. I still send cards (apparently this isn't something many millenials do, sadly) and will definitely try to include a more of a personal note in them rather than just the obligatories. I've been reading more poetry recently and have realised a good one can often say something we may struggle to articulate and can be a great message to include. Something else I also love about sending cards is that there's no obligation for the recipient to reply. This can be a good way to show you care to someone who's going through a difficult time.
So glad you're keeping the tradition alive too! :D
I love the idea of including poetry; I'll definitely be doing that in the future. Also such a good point about there being no pressure to respond -- it's not like texting, where the exchange is expected.
This is such a sweet post 🥹 I absolutely love writing cards/letters to people and definitely find it easier to open my heart to them in writing than verbally. Whenever someone takes the time to write me a card it's such a treat!!
Oh, I love this post! Being a great card writer is such a wonderful talent. So many great tips here—long live handwritten notes and cherished ephemera!
These tips are fantastic, Auzin! I'm so bad at writing cards! 😅
Awh thank you for reading! I loved the card I got from you last year! <3
Aww 😭❤️
This is so sweet! I run a snail mail workshop here in Philly & these tips resonate <3333
What does a snail mail workshop entail? :)

Omg that's amazing! If you ever hold a virtual workshop, I'd love to attend! :D
